Send the link to whomever you want to and wait for them to accept the invitation. Press the Invite button to get a link you can share. If you'd like, you can then click 'Share this story' to. When the friend accepts your invitation, Spotify will create cover art, a tracklist, and display your taste match score. From there, click 'invite' and select a friend to join your Blend. Select the Search tab in Spotify and type in the word Blend. On the mobile app, all you need to do is navigate to the 'Made for You' hub and click 'Create Blend'. With new updates adding support for up to ten friends and connections with a user’s favorite artists, Spotify has found another unique feature to set itself apart from the rest. Launch the Spotify app or load the service in your browser. The ‘share cards’ generated by Spotify will show how similar a user’s profile is to the chosen artists’ selections. BTS, Kacey Musgraves, and Megan Thee Stallion highlight the selection of Blend-supported singers. There’s a total of 20 artists that can be added to Blend playlists at launch, including some of the most recognizable names in modern music. The best part is, Spotify does all the work to create your new Blend using its personalization features, and the playlist will even change daily based on what users stream so that it’s always up.
Perhaps the most interesting feature added to Blend in the latest update is the ability to create shared playlists based on a popular artist's musical influences and preferences. Spotify Blend, which launched in beta in June 2021, is an easy way to create a playlist that features a combo of two users’ listening preferences. People who are already added as friends on Spotify can be invited inside the app, and after a playlist is created, a ‘share card’ can be sent or posted on social media. Once the Blend page has been selected, there’s an option to view a user’s collection of Blend playlists and create new ones. After searching the term, the ‘Blend’ option will be listed first as a genre. To create a Blend playlist on Spotify, simply enter ‘blend’ on the search page.
